Every parent wants their kids to do great things. So we asked all the kids in the elementary what they want to be when they grow up! This week we will be looking at the second grade class and their answers.

The top choices within the class are as follows!

Taking first place with six votes is Teacher! Looks like a lot of the second graders want to follow in the footsteps of the teachers who help them learn every day. Who knows? These kids might come back and teach their own group of second graders!

Coming in second place with five votes is Police Officer! These students want to have their future in public service, protecting their communities and keeping the people of Bluffton safe!

Tied for third place, with four votes each, we have Cheerleader and Veterinarian! Whether they are going off to cheer on their favorite teams or caring for animals, these students have some exciting futures ahead!

Beyond the top choices, there was also a great variety of Athletes, military personnel, and trade/tech workers! From the wonderful world of tech to scoring that final touchdown, the second graders have many different interests and dreams.

With future Teachers ready, Police Officers standing by, and Vets waiting to keep your pets healthy, its looks like these kids will be keeping our community fun filled and safe!

Stay tuned to the websites news feed for next weeks post on the choices of the third grade students!
